Problems with 1.2(7) on Win XP

I think i've had some instability with the latest update 1.2(7) on Win XP 32bit
Here is what I observed:

1. Using Copperlan with a Unitor8 via USB, it starts sending what appears to be a reset command at odd intervals to the Unitor8. (I realise the Unitor8 drivers are ancient so perhaps that may be the issue here, I really don't know)

2. Ethernet port completely disappeared. Confirmed ethernet was working for other applications. Restarted application and even rebooted and did not fix.

I uninstalled and reinstalled 1.2(7) and the same thing happened.

I am back on 1.2(6) and everything appears normal.

regards
Dan

I am having the same issue with Copperlan 1.2(7) on Windows XP. I've found that removing USB midi devices seems to resolve the issue. It appears to be related to USB midi devices using the default windows midi drivers.

Hi,

The next version of CopperLan is currently under test. We have fixed some problems related to the drivers.

Here is a link to a temporarily available test version for Windows XP

Can you test it and tell me if your issue is fixed?

Thanks,

/Phil
