Copperlan manager needs to stay open for MIDI to work

Hello,
I just found about your sofware (very nice by the way, thank you), and tried it to connect D::Light and Ableton Live with MIDI signal.
PC : Thinkpad X220
OS : Windows 7
MIDI sofware installed : Madmapper, Ableton Live, D::Light, MIDI-OX, Max 7
No hardware MIDI connected
I had a nasty problem, for that the connection was very unstable : usually, I managed to send 2 or 3 MIDI notes before the connection vanished.
What I found after several hours of test is that the connection remains stable between D::Light and Live (or MIDI-OX) only if the GUI of Copperlan stays open.
My guess is that the daemon is having trouble to relaunch himself when the loop crashes, but it is a wild guess...
Anyway, thank you for the software!
Cheers,
