Beta 2.0(6): Parameter display broken

Beta 2.0(6): Parameter display broken

Postby sunmachine » 29 Sep 2013, 17:45

Not sure if this belongs here or in the CP Manager forum.

There's something wrong with parameters display.

Sometimes I get this:
parameters-2.png

...and sometimes it looks like so (Off/Off for the Pre parameter and a dropdown box for On):
parameters-1.png

Please note also the selector icon in front of Pre and On which looks broken, too.

Yep it's a CPManager issue actually. But I can't reproduce here... Are you using a single computer, or are you running the CopperPlug in a different computer than the CPManager?

And about the selector icon... hum.. well... it's normal... Yes, it's a very bad icon actually

Oh well, now I see! The fuzzy lines of that icon are supposed to represent text... ;)

It was the same machine with OS X 10.8.4. The PC with Win XP was connected, though.
Unfortunately I don't know how to reproduce this behavior.

Ok I just published the Beta 1.2(2) on the CopperBeta web site.

Just restart the CPManager or click on the "check for update" button to upgrade your computers.

I've fixed a lot of things since last week, so let me know if the issue is still there...

Thanks,

/Phil

Just got a wrong parameter display again with CP Manager 1.2(3).
Bwd is defined for a different parameter in a different parameter set by the way.

It would be great if I could reproduce here...

which plug-in are you controlling? can you upload the CopperPlug definition file?

It's the Ultra Analog V2 from AAS (VST).
The definition file is available on the server.
You can download a trial version here: http://www.applied-acoustics.com/ultra- ... a-2/#trial

When this happened the VST plug-in was loaded in Studio One. I don't know how to reproduce, though.

Tried to reproduce and came across another issue. Might be related, though...

EDIT: Looks like this is not an issue at all. The plug-in doesn't send the current parameter values when you switch to another preset, so the CopperLan Manager wasn't updated. False alarm, sorry! Have to write to AAS, though... ;-)
