Yes indeed ;)

But the brand+model is part of the definition file's strong identity so I need to make it safe to avoid putting a mess in the online DB.

Actually I plan to extend the definition file management to allow file copy and tree compare. The definition file are often the same for a plug-in between the VST and AU version except for the plug-in parameter numbers. It would be great to import a VST definition file content into a AU empty file, then simply re-map the parameters.

The MIDI Target definition file editor will automatically inherit from this functionality, so you can create a new definition file for a specific
