It is possible that the service managing locally CopperLan (VNM) is stuck for some reason. It can be caused by 3rd party MIDI driver. In this case, CopperLan Manager is hosted by another computer, this explains why you can see the reste of the network but this commputer.

If you are using MIDI hardware, please disconnect all MIDI device, then restart the computer and verify that you can see the local virtual MIDI ports from the CopperLan Manager. Finally reconnect one by one your MIDI device until you find which one is freezing the VNM. Similar issue were already reported, due to Korg or Avid driver broken during system update (on Mac & PC).

If you are not using hardware (only using CopperLan's virtual MIDI port), the problem can be a compatibility issue with other virtual MIDI driver. In this case, try to disable 3rd party software creating virtual Midi ports.

Ultimately, try to uninstall CopperLan, reboot, and install the latest version (V1.4(5)).

Ok, thanks.
Eventually it came back again.
We are using an AL88 also in the network.
I'll keep you updated.
Grts.
