(Dev Question): Access to USBKey reference design?

(Dev Question): Access to USBKey reference design?

Postby jksuperstar » 28 Mar 2013, 07:22

I am registered as a Freeware developer, but would like to play with hardware, specifically the USBKey reference design. Should I change the type of developer I registered as? Or can I get the reference design as this type of developer?

Thanks!

Aside from the USBKey, I am also interested in OpenWRT...a linux based router firmware that runs on many routers. Some of those routers have USB on them...so I am thinking of making an opensource router firmware that is enhanced (if at all possible) for CopperLAN, especially by supporting directly attached USB devices and CopperLAN devices and making them available to the rest of the network without another computer needed. Thoughts?

Sorry for the late reply.
We have plans for an open hardware platform as well as a simplified development environment for the hobbyists.
Unfortunately, these are not at the top of our priorities list. We will make an announcement when they are available.
Thank you for your interest.
