Copperlan on Win8.1x64 @ Parallels VM on MacBookPro

seems to have issues.

when the CPVNM is running, it consumes quite a lot of CPU cycles (8% and more). The Overview Tab in CP Manager Shows one steady device (another PC in the LAN, and other devices get created and destroyed, flickering all over the CP Manager. This behaviour stops, when I Chose "None" Network Adapter.

using a bridged Network for the VM, configured right, meaning "other" Network things, like Jackaudio, rtpMidi working well.

The forthcoming version of the package might solve the problems you encounter.
Please try it and tell me if it helps.
Here is the package: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/21532405/CopperLanBetaTest/CopperLanSetup%5B20140319_TestP1.2%287%29%5D.exe.

nope.

installed beta on Windows 8.1 x64 running in a parallels VM on MacBook Pro:

The Mac doesn't see the Win VM CPVNM, there's no device for the Win VM (midi).
At the Win Side, I do not have any device in the CP Manager.

Maybe it's due to running different version of CP now you only provided the PC build?

EDIT:

after restarting both Mac and the Win VM, the Win VM sees all devices on the Network (PC, MBP and Win-VM@MBP), whereas the Mac only sees itself and the other PC (PC, MBP)

jfyi, the CPVNM v1.2(7) service, running in the Win VM on the MacBookPro seems to be crashing peridocally. When I restart the service, everything seems to work, until it crashes again.

The CPVNM v1.2(6) running on a Win8.1x64 PC seems to have some problems, too: It doesn't show every MIDI device, it doesn't show MIDI setup/CP2MIDI and MIDI2CP in the CP Manager edit pane after boot. The service couldn't be stopped. I rebooted several times until I was able to restart the service, which is when everything seems ok on this PC concerning the CPVNM.
