Hi,

There is not much changes related to usage of CopperLan in music domain. Most of the changes in this version are internal and related to CopperLan integration in pro-audio systems.

However,
- the software upgrade sub-system has been totally redesigned and is functional again,
- we have enhanced the support of remotely hosted CopperLan application (running on iOS or Android), which gives renewed interest in mobile application development,
- some bug fixes related to rare problems on OSX and Windows systems.

No way at this point to let Midi Port name change? an old sought after feature...
;)

Not this time. Port renaming is not possible with the current MIDI port handler. A new MIDI module supporting this feature exists, but this is part of a future major update of the CopperLan package which is not yet ready to be distributed.

Thanks for documenting this, it could also be a useful technique for dealing with other windows driver issues.
