Trying to Sync Cubase to Vegas or any Video NLE

Hello,
I'm fresh to CopperLan, trying to sync Cubase desktop to Vegas or any Video NLE on my Laptop so that playback and timecode location are sync'd.

Just in the early stages of tinkering and trying to figure it out, which I'm sure I will eventually, but. maybe someone here can accelerate this process.
