Here I am.

1-Copied the *.clp files to near cpvnm.exe and it still gives the error.

2-Installed 1.3(3) manager and Tatraaaam: the ethernet device is there and there is no error in the cpvnm command line console.

3-Installed again 1.4 and the issue is back.

4-Installed 1.3(3) manager again and it is working as previously.

For now the 1.3(3) version will be the one here.

Is your Windows version 32 or 64-bit? (on both PC you used for the test)

32 in both Windows 7. The other Windows 10 is 32 too.

My main pc, that is in Windows 10 is 64 but I have no issues in that one with 1.4

haaaaaa, this make sense, and this is very interesting!

I guess that we have a problem in the installation package, probably embedding only the 64-bit version of the CLP files. I'll check that.

Thanks!

No... I just checked, the installer contains both 32 and 64-bit versions of the executable and libraries files.

So the problem can come from the installer itself, which could install 64-bit version of clp files for some (unknown) reason.

When you have some time (no hurry if you are happy with the version 1.3), can you install again the 1.4, then launch Dependency Walker application (http://www.dependencywalker.com/), and drag & drop the CHAIoNet.clp file into this Dependency Walker to check if the tree-view root icon contains a "64" symbol as you can see in the image hereafter. If you see this "64" symbol, can you check if you see it for all the .clp files, or just for the CHAIoNet.clp?

Hi Phil.

No 64 symbol anywhere. I do see a some "error opening file..." messages.
