Hello everybody,
I'm a newcomer here, but nevertheless I have the strong feeling that this technology will rule the hell out of stage device market very shortly. And I want to be close to it when it happens.
But for the very beginning I have to admit, that even the best technology could be ruined very easily if wrongly marketed.
I mean, if you are going to push it to market for masses, the pricing is way to high to reach anywhere further than 'some elite geeks only' could afford.
I'll give an example - Alyseum AL-88 on schneidersladen.de costs 690 Eur - the correct price in my opinion would be somewhere around 190 Eur... Alyseum AL-22 - 190 Eur - wrong... Must be 49, ok 69......79 Eur at max! Alyseum ALeX - 99 Eur - no way - 29 Eur! Copperduino... not more than 59...
Ok, I know this is a new technology, and there is a great possibility that someone have spent thousands on R&D, however having priced it like this you rather ruin your marvel technology than get it down to masses level.
With all of this I just tried to say - get the prices down quickly, licence it for a reasonable price to mass manufacturers, like Mackie, dbx, MOTU, Behringer, or whatever and you will see a quantum leap both in terms of major (I'm talking about once or twice in a century event) technological shift in the industry and your income due to mass of production rather than price of few models in the market right now.
