version 1.4(5) newby question

Hi

Copperlan seems so useful to me. It looks awesome. I have some problems though

1 on youtube i saw that copperlan was able to recover after unplugging and replugging a midi device. I try this with my beatstep pro: In the manager edit tab the beatstep pops back in view, but non of the connections I made are restored.

2 I have made some connections. What I need is to split the midi input from the beatstep by channel, and send the different channels to different virtual midi drivers. So I have created 4 separate streams, and this works well! Then I make a snapshot, and the program reports that all connections have been saved. If I do a clean restore, ony one of the connections is restored. The rest is gone.

3 After the computer has been in standby mode, and I start the manager, it says: No Copperlan, and I don't really know what to do...

so, in conclusion: I would love to use this software, but this way it will not work. Is there something silly I am doing wrong? Can anybody give me a tip?

Cheers, Ernst

Hi,

First of all, can you tell me what kind of computer you are using? Mac or PC? If it is a Mac, do you use the Thunderbolt Ethernet adapter?
